Hi Matt,

Identifying those things which I spend too much money on has been a pretty worthwhile process. Chinese takeaways are and will always be my downfall! We developed some software for tracking and analysing our time, money and mileage called 1DayLater time and expenses tracking software you might like to check it out

I tend to do this off and on. I'll track my spending precisely for a few months, then I'll become lax and let it slide for a few months, then realize that I should be tracking, and start back up again. This is definitely a good tip. I'm in an "off" phase right now, but I think you've given me inspiration to open up my spreadsheet again :)
